With the access of 800M+ profiles from over 45 platforms, hireEZ offers the largest candidate pool available for recruiters from diverse industries. There are just a few steps you need to take before entering your search criteria and creating your project before you dive in and generate your talent pipelines.
In this article, you will find out:
How to Start an AI Sourcing task
You can locate the +New Project button on the navigation bar on the left.

Name your project in the pop-up window. You can add any description that may help clarify the task of the project in the text bar below.

On the next page, you can invite your team members as Recruiter, Screener, and Viewer to work on the project. Each role obtains a different level of authorization. You are able to make someone the Owner of the project after you have invited the person.

You can then choose a Hiring Process Template from the drop-down menu. hireEZ offers two templates by default: Default Sourcing Process and Default Recruiting Process. If you need additional customized templates, you may talk to your Team Admin and they can create new templates from their ends.
If you are the Team Admin, you can refer to the article Admin: How To Customize the Hiring Process for Your Team.

After you hit Create, you will be led to a new search window and you can start filling the sourcing filters from the Search Results page.

You may also start with the Source Candidates button located on the upper left of the Home page. If you start from here, you will be asked to fill in the AI Sourcing filters first and save your search later.

How to Edit Your Search
In both cases, you will be led to hireEZ AI sourcing filters. The filters cover not only the Job Titles, Skills, and Years of Experience of the candidates, but also allow you to search the candidates’ Company and Education backgrounds and other work-related information.
There are also filters specialized for Tech and Healthcare professionals as well as Scholars with publications and patents. And you may use the Diversity filter to search for candidates from underrepresented groups . You can click on the tabs on the left to look into each one of them.
Don’t worry if you can’t think of all the criteria for the role! When you are filling the text boxes, hireEZ will offer suggestions below the line based on the words and phrases that you have put in. You can add them to the filters with just one click.
All phrases searched by hireEZ will be listed under the View Insights page on the left. You can read the Persona section for more information.

Start with Boolean String or Resume/JD
You may also add a Boolean String to your search. Type in or copy and paste any Boolean Strings that you have in the Keywords or Boolean. If you don’t have any, you can click on the Boolean Builder link to create one.
When you hit the Search button, you will see hireEZ has filled out parts of the filters based on the string. You can still modify the filters manually before you launch the sourcing process.

If you choose to Start with Resume/JD, you can copy a resume of a sample candidate or the job description of the position in the text bar. hireEZ will parse the resume/JD description and input information into the filters. You can then check and modify the filters or add details to them.

View Insights
After you have filled in all the information, take a look at the View Insights page on the right. As you may have noticed, the number of candidates in the upper right corner changes when you are editing the filters. It indicates the size of your talent pool in real-time.

On the top of the page, you will find the full list of the titles, companies, and other information that you have put in or the AI has added for you when you choose to include similar ones. You can exclude names on the list manually if you don’t want them to be included in your search.
The charts below show a brief Insights report which provides a breakdown of your talent pool so far. You can click on the Export button on the right for a more detailed report of your talent pool.

Customize and Modify Your Search Results
Now you are able to view the results of your sourcing from the new window that popped up and all qualified candidates will be listed on the page. You can move them to your pipeline by clicking on Good Fit or use Not a Fit button to mark them as not qualified. The Not a Fit candidates will be archived under the Not a Fit link in the upper right corner.
You may bulk add the candidates to your pipeline. You can select up to 200 candidates each time and use the buttons above the list to give Good Fit/Not a Fit or move the candidates to other parts of the pipeline.

To modify the search results, you may review and re-edit the filters on the left. For example, add more mandatory skills or exclude certain companies. As you make adjustments to your criteria, the search results will update instantaneously.
If you want, you can click on the Save button above the filters to name and reserve the search for future use. All searches saved will be shown in Saved Searches. You can also use the Copy to Project button on the side to copy your search to other projects.
If you click on Clear (the trash bin button), your filters would be cleaned and the candidates shown on the result page would be removed. Candidates in your pipeline will not be affected.
You can look into History to view, save or remove your past searches. You need to be aware that if you click on Clear Search History, your saved search will also be dismissed.

When you are ready, screen your candidates on the right and start to load your pipeline!
