Tips: Market Value Analysis of Particular Locations (Beta Feature)

When you need to look for candidates from a particular location but need to evaluate the targeted talent market to set hiring expectations, then hireEZ Insights is the right place to go.

You are able to find the Insights tab on the top blue menu bar. You can start to layout your criteria on the left, starting from the Job Title, then the Location, and other parameters as you need.

In this filter, City, Metro Area, State, Country, Continent, USA ZIP/Postal Code are all available to search. When you type in the locations, hireEZ's AI will suggest all relevant locations for you to differentiate based on your keywords. You can specify the Radius of your search from the drop-down menu on the right.

You may add a list of locations to search/exclude by clicking on the Add/Edit Lists links. Name the list and input the cities and regions that you want to search in the text bar below. Click on the Lists button if you want to edit any saved location lists from here.

When you finish, click on Create to proceed. You will be able to see the list name under the filter and you can add the locations with one click. If you tick the box to Add this list automatically for future sourcing tasks, the locations will appear automatically next time when you start an Insights search. Similarly, you may add lists to exclude certain locations using the second link there.

Set other metrics based on your criteria and then click on the blue button on the bottom to Generate Insights. A comprehensive report will be produced on the right exclusively within the selected area.

Let's take the job of Journalist in Boston, New York City, and Philadelphia as an example.

There are 11,707 professional journalists in total, and 11.66% of them have changed jobs within the last 12 months. If you change the timeline from 12 months to 6 months, you will find the percentage dropped to 5.38%. In this way, you can observe the trends in the market. In addition, you can also see Top Companies, Top Industries, Years of Experience, Educational Background, Market Value, etc.

The Top Location section on the reports indicates where the searched professionals are gathered inside the regions that you have entered. Here we are able to see that among the three cities, 38.81% of the professionals are located in New York and 16.64% of the professionals are in the Greater New York City area, which stresses New York as the center of the industry in the region. You can click on the hyperlinked bars to view the candidates located in the regions.

You can change the filters on the left anytime while screening through the report, just remember to re-click Generate insights button to refresh the page. Once you are satisfied with the search results, you can use the buttons on the upper right of the window to Start AI Sourcing, Export the report, Save the Search, or Copy the link of the page and share it with other team members.
